Welcome to the Village of Hemmingford Web site

The municipality informs you that you can come to the Recreation Center to cool yourself inside.

The gymnasium is air-conditioned.

Unfortunately, the water game will remain closed during the water ban in force to preserve water.

You can also visit the library, during open hours, to read a book or surf the web in a cool environment.

It is important to:

GOOD HYDRATION: drink lots of various liquids ( ex: water, juice diluted with water, sport drinks) without waiting to be thirsty or depending the amounts indicated by the doctor;

STAY COOL: spend several hours in a cool environment, ideally with air conditioner;

REDUCE THE EFFORTS: reduce your efforts and exterior physical activities, especially between 10am and 3pm.

Come and explore our beautiful region discovering our artisans and local producers: apple and pear products, maple syrup, wineries and many others. Have a meal in one of our many restaurants, visit the zoo, have a relaxing holiday at one of the local campgrounds, or play a round of golf at the well renowned golf course, all of which are sure to please your senses in a lovely natural setting.

We are a bilingual community, situated at the southern extremity of the Montérégie, adjacent to the American border and the State of New York. We are bordered by the towns of Sherrington, Ste-Clotilde, St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, and Havelock. Just a 45 minute drive out of Montreal, down autoroute 15, exit 6 and you're here! The Township of Hemmingford surrounds the Village of Hemmingford.

Come for a visit, nature and culture await you!

 Enjoy your visit!
